If you enjoy the feel of cotton on your skin, then you’re in good company. Through the centuries, cotton has ruled supreme in the world of style and fashion as the “White Gold” of textiles. So popular is cotton that it’s even left its footprints in the English language. When you are successful, you are said to be in high cotton. When you make that brilliant breakthrough at work you cotton on to the idea, etc. At JD, we’ve cottoned onto the concept that our clientele recognise and appreciate quality when they find it. Our designers and manufacturers are always seeking the best quality of cotton, so that you can wear your look with confidence and comfort.
Summer is the season of holiday getaway fun and nothing travels better than cotton. Light and airy, stylish and always trendy, the Jonathan D Summer clothing (link to the product brochure) will have you looking and feeling your best, whatever the destination, whatever the occasion.

Having your favourite cottons at the ready is step one. Knowing how to pack for travel, is step two. Here are a few tips to help you to look and feel your best.
Roll, don’t fold. This does seem to go against the grain but rolling up your clothes has two benefits. Firstly, you save quite a bit on space and secondly, you avoid those horrid packing creases every traveller loathes. Make a packing list. Spontaneity is fantastic when trying new flavours of craft beer but it has no place in the life of a traveller, planning the perfect trip. Preparation is the key to a fuss free holiday.
If you’re lucky enough to live out of your suitcase for a few days, you won’t go wrong with the Luxor Denim Jean, the Volcano Golfer and your ticket to begin your adventure.
Be sure you are familiar with the luggage policies of the airline you’re flying with. Nothing rains on your parade quite like a hefty, unexpected baggage fee. Now, one word – ziplock! The last thing you need is to open your bag at your destination and find a sea of shampoo and lotion mess. The last tip is an important one. Hand luggage is the traveller’s best friend. Make sure that you have all the necessary items with you plus a few extras for supreme comfort. Face wipes for instance are a godsend when you need to freshen up and remember the chargers for your electronic devices. A snack bar is always a good idea and take along a jersey, just in case.
Now that you have all the necessary elements to a hassle free trip, all that’s left to do is decide where you want to go. Wherever you decide to spend that well deserved break, remember that JD is with you all the way. We work hard so that you can relax and look your best. Bon voyage!
